Despite all the hurdles, the model still managed to find about 63,000 buyers.
The Porsche 928 was launched in a total of three model series. Since the production start in 1977, there were two facelifts that visually and technologically updated the car. When encountering intense damper stimulations, such as street irregularities, the maximum cross-section of the low-speed and high-speed valves open, resulting in a more comfortable driving experience. This is especially noticeable in water-cooled Porsche models like the 928 with a 5.4-liter V8 engine that produces 350 hp (275 kW).
