KW coilover suspension kits for the Lamborghini Aventador (SVJ incl.)
The Italian super sports car, the Lamborghini Aventador, comes with a 6.5-litre V12 engine with up to 780 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in under three seconds and reaches a top speed of over 350 km/h. Thanks to its CFRP monocoque structure, which is around 90 kg lighter than the Murciélago's, and its motorsport-inspired pushrod suspension, the Aventador brings racing technology to the road. The LP 700-4, LP 750-4, the Aventador S with rear-wheel steering and the Roadster all combine raw performance with technical finesse. However, even a super sports car of this calibre can be customized. This is exactly where our expertise begins.
The factory suspension
The standard pushrod suspension is clearly inspired by motorsport. The firm basic setup ensures direct feedback and high lateral dynamics. With the 2017 facelift, and especially in the Aventador S, agility has been significantly increased thanks to rear-axle steering. The vehicle feels more maneuverable and predictable. At the same time, the standard suspension remains deliberately designed as a compromise between road approval, comfort, and performance. Anyone looking for maximum precision or an individually tuned setup encounters limitations here.
KW V5 coilover suspension
The KW V5 coilover suspension brings solid piston technology from international motorsport to the Aventador. Thanks to four-way damper adjustment in the low and high-speed range, it enables exceptionally fine tuning. The KW V5 reduces hysteresis, responds even more sensitively to uneven surfaces, and increases stability at top speeds. Especially in a vehicle with such high performance, controlling even the smallest body movements is crucial for true driver's confidence at the limits.
Customised lowering
This coilover suspension offers maximum possible lowering, customised to your vehicle model. You can also change this at any time after installation.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable rebound (high speed)
You'll feel the difference with every click! Here you can adjust the rebound (high speed) with a total of 13 clicks. This makes the riding characteristics either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Adjustable compression damping (Highspeed)
You can fine-tune the high-speed compression damping even after installation. Up to 15 clicks allow you to adjust vehicle handling and stability.
Additional technologies
Is the KW suspension available for all Aventador models?
The KW V5 is available for most variants from 2012 onwards, with or without electronic damping. The KW V4 is available for many versions, excluding certain electronically controlled models such as the SVJ. In our KW automotive online shop, you can see exactly which models our products are designed for. We do not offer any products for the Ultimae LP 780-4.
Will electronic systems remain functional?
Yes. For vehicles with electronic damper control, we have appropriate technical solutions so that no error messages occur and all relevant vehicle systems remain fully functional. KW cancellation kits are included in the scope of delivery when buying coilover kits for the Lamborghini Aventador.
Is road approval possible with the Aventador KW suspension?
All KW coilover suspensions offered for the Aventador have a corresponding parts certificate. This means that registration in accordance with the applicable legal requirements is possible without any problems.
How does driving comfort change with KW coilover suspension?
The goal is not to make the Aventador harder, but to make it more precise. The coilover solutions have separate adjustment options that allow you to define the setup individually, ranging from road-oriented to track-focused. The remaining level of comfort has been deliberately retained.
