The factory suspension
The standard suspension impresses with its comfort and reliability. It is designed for a broad target group because an empty T5/T6 should perform just as well as a fully loaded one. But: the high body, variable loading and different application profiles push the standard VW T5 suspension to its limits. KW suspensions has developed several adjustable, vehicle-specific products to address these limits. These result in reduced body roll when cornering, more stable handling even when carrying heavy loads, precise feedback at high speeds and the ability to continuously adjust the ride height to optimize the center of gravity.
Our KW product
Our KW V3 Leveling allows for targeted level adjustment on the front and rear axles. This enables a functional and visual correction of height differences caused by series production or usage, as well as heavy loads. With this suspension, level adjustment of approximately -10 to -30 mm is possible on both axles. Depending on the configuration of the VW T5 or T6, the height can be individually adjusted at any time. This allows you to maintain near-standard driving characteristics with optimized balance.

Strut clamp or clamp mounting? Important!
In the VW T5 and T6, there are two variants of attachment at the lower end of the shock absorber: With the clamp attachment, the strut is fixed to the wheel bearing housing with two screws via a separate clamp, while with the strut clamp it is clamped directly in the steering knuckle. This difference in design is crucial when choosing the right KW coilover suspension. Please check this on your car and specify the correct version when purchasing in the online shop. The selection of the correct variant in the shop cannot be overlooked.
Customised lowering
This coilover suspension offers maximum possible lowering, customised to your vehicle model. You can also change this at any time after installation.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Composite spring disc
The height-adjustable KW spring plate is made from a resistant and friction-optimised polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert. In contrast to anodised aluminium adjustable spring plates, the polyamide composite material prevents possible oxidation.

The continuously variable lowering significantly optimizes the vehicle's center of gravity. This results in more balanced handling.
