KW Variant 3 coilover suspension in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce with four-wheel drive on the country road.

With or without four-wheel drive: KW coilovers for all Alfa Romeo Giulia (952)

The suspension struts and the rear damper housings of the KW Variant 3 coilover suspension for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Veloce with four-wheel drive are made of stainless steel.

For the current Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) including the models with the all-wheel-drive "Alfa Q4" KW automotive has also a coilover suspension kit in its product range. Depending on the axle geometry, the coilover suspension kits Variant 1 and Variant 3 as well the exclusively for the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (952) available DDC plug&play kit, allow a stepless lowering of up to 55 millimeters.

An approved lowering of up to 55 millimeters is with the KW Variant 3 and KW Variant 1 possible.

Since its market launch, the Alfa Romeo Giulia (952) has been one of the most beautiful mid-range saloons and convinces not only with its design but also with its driving values. For demanding Alfisti, which would like to increase the driving dynamics together with a stepless lowering, KW automotive has developed different coilover suspension kits.

The KW coilover suspension variant 3 makes an Alfa Romeo Giulia with or without four-wheel drive much more sporty.

Due to the stainless steel coilover suspensions, all Alfa Romeo Giulia models benefit from increased handling and more safety reserves in the driving dynamic limit range. The KW coilover suspensions convince in everyday life by a successful balance of more sportiness and driving comfort. Occurring pitch and roll movements of the chassis are noticeably reduced.

The compression and rebound forces can be adjusted separately directly on the damper.

We manufacture our Variant 3 dampers with an adjustable multi-valve technology, which enables a harmonious suspension even with a tight tuning. With 16 clicks, the cross-section in the low-speed rebound valve can be reduced or enlarged to further tune the damping precisely to the individual driving sensation.

Functionality of a shock used in KW coilover suspension Variant 3

On undulating roads, the suspension dampens harmoniously even at maximum lowering and prevents uneven handling. When the rebound damping is opened, driving comfort is enhanced. When the rebound valve is closed, the body's pitching and rolling movements are significantly reduced. Handling becomes even more dynamic than in series production..

In the KW Variant 3, a click wheel adjustable with twelve clicks is integrated in each damper.

On the rear axle, the rebound click wheel no longer needs to be inserted into the piston rod but is already installed from the KW Factory.

On the other hand, in Variant 1, which we offer for the Alfa Romeo Giulia models without four-wheel drive, the damper set-up cannot be individually adjusted separately with 16 clicks in rebound and 12 clicks in compression. While the KW coilover suspension Variant 3 with the separate compression and rebound adjustment except for the Quadrifoglio was developed for all Alfa Romeo Giulia (952), Variant 1 is only available for the Giulia four-cylinder models with rear-wheel drive.

The KW DDC plug&play coilover suspension with electronically adjustable damper characteristics reads the standard sensors of the Variant 3 and Variant 1 and adapts adaptively to the respective driving situation within hundredths of a second. The different modes can still be selected via the series switch in the cockpit. The KW DDC coilover suspension also allows the 510 HP Giulia Quadrifoglio to be lowered continuously up to 35 millimeters.
