We offer KW V1 and V3 racing suspensions for your BMW 3 Series E36. These coilovers with a steel-galvanized strut, including top mounts (vehicle-dependent), are your perfect companion on the racetrack. Technically, the suspensions are similar to the Street Performance applications but are explicitly designed for motorsport use. A top mount allows individual camber adjustment for better tire traction in cornering.
BMW E36 Coilovers by the KW Street Performance Category
The KW V1 and V2 are the perfect coilovers for those who prefer a more modest setup. Both products are part of our Street Performance line. The V1 coilover allows individual lowering and has a pre-configured damper setup. The V2 features the same options and additionally allows rebound damping adjustment. Our most popular E36 suspension is the KW V3. The coilover provides the ideal balance between sporty and comfortable driving. The damping is perfectly adjusted to your vehicle upon delivery, but you can adjust the compression and rebound stages as desired. The driving characteristics can be stiff and precise or smooth and cushioned, depending on your settings.
In Clubsport Mode on Track and Road
The KW V1, KW V2, and KW V3 are coilovers for road use. For those who enjoy driving on the track, the KW V3 Clubsport is the choice. The BMW E36 sport suspension brings out the best lap times in your car. Additionally, you can adjust the damper setup in the low-speed range of compression and rebound stages. The low-speed range determines how precise the steering response is, influencing the car's handling. With the KW V3 Clubsport, these parameters are dialed in. The Clubsport coilover for your BMW 3 Series also improves noise level and braking behavior. The great advantage of this coilover is its street-legal approval (parts certificate) for E36 models from the 1992 model year (excluding Compact models). Despite its use on the racetrack, the KW V3 Clubsport is legal for road use.

BMW E36 Lowering: Get an Appealing Look for Your Car
Experience the ideal road holding with our individual lowering options in the coilover for the BMW E36. With the V1, V2, and V3, your car can be lowered by 40 to 80 millimeters at the front axle. At the rear axle, 30 to 60 millimeters are possible. The M3 (E36) allows a reduction in ground clearance by 30 to 60 millimeters on both axles.
