Problems with the standard suspension

Due to its high weight of 2,435 kilograms, some driving situations can be challenging. Especially at high speeds or fast cornering, the BMW M5 G90 can only be controlled with sufficient skill. In addition, drivers repeatedly report overly aggressive steering behavior.

Function & quality from KW

With KW, you get back your driving safety. The KW V4 offers a sporty driving experience despite the high weight of the G90. Enjoy the balancing effect of our suspension. We offer you maximum performance with the best controllability of the vehicle. In addition, the steering behavior in the M5 G90 is smoother thanks to the KW V4.

The heaviest BMW M5 of all time

The BMW M5 G90 is the heaviest M5 ever built. At 2,435 kilograms, it is 1,000 kg heavier than the first BMW M5 (E28). This can also be felt in certain driving situations. For this reason, it can make sense to stabilize the car with suspension solutions.

Hybrid technology in the M5

The BMW M5 G90 is the first M5 as a plug-in hybrid. It has an electric range of just under 70 kilometers. Accordingly, the vehicle has an additional electric motor combined with a 4.4 liter V8 biturbo. This is the first time in almost 40 years that an M5 is not a pure combustion engine.

Performance of the BMW M5 G90

The new BMW M5 has a system output of 727 hp. This even surpasses the BMW M5 CS (F90), which is designed for track use, by almost 100 horsepower. The new M5 (2024) goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 305 km/h.

All-wheel steering as standard for the first time

For the first time, the G90 has rear-axle steering wheels (Integral Active Steering) as standard. These ensure greater stability and agility - a must for this heavy vehicle. It also makes the car easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces and improves handling.
