Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Adjustable compression damping (Highspeed)
You can fine-tune the high-speed compression damping even after installation. Up to 15 clicks allow you to adjust vehicle handling and stability.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.

The KW V4 coilover suspension allows for even more precise and finer damper tuning than the standard adaptive suspension. The M5 Touring is more stable in fast corners, and its heavy weight is hardly noticeable.
Is the BMW M5 Touring still suitable for everyday use after lowering?
Of course, it depends on how low your BMW M5 Touring is. Nevertheless, lowering the vehicle by 10 to 30 millimeters on both axles ensures that it remains fully suitable for everyday use on normal road surfaces.
How does the KW V4 cope with the additional weight of the hybrid battery?
The KW V4 features high-performance springs and triple-adjustable damping (rebound and high/low-speed compression) that can be precisely tuned. The spring rates and damper valving are custom-calibrated by us to sustain the G99's high static and dynamic axle loads, preventing bottoming out and maintaining optimal driving dynamics.
Are there any disadvantages to the standard suspension that the KW V4 solves?
The standard suspension is powerful, but relatively coarse in its various modes. Our KW V4 damping is very precise, even under high loads. It provides direct feedback and reduces roll.
