Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) with KW V7 Racing suspension
The KW V7 Racing was extensively tested under real operating conditions - on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the Hockenheimring, at Bilster Berg as well as in intensive high-load tests on the airfield and on our in-house KW driving dynamics test rig. With the new KW V7 Racing technology, KW is setting the next milestone in professional motorsport. Developed for GT3 customer sport programmes of leading car manufacturers, the V7 Racing combines maximum control, highest precision and a constantly reproducible performance - even under the most extreme racing conditions.

The standard suspension
As one of the most powerful sports cars in its class, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS already impresses with very high dynamic performance as standard. The benchmark for our engineers was correspondingly high. The standard suspension offers extensive adjustment options via the steering wheel controls and thus covers a wide range of applications - from fast country roads to circuit racing.
Our KW product
The bar was set high for our engineers. The result is a suspension that has been specially developed for demanding trackday drivers. Based on our latest V7 Racing technology, which is also used in current GT3 motorsport, and our many years of experience in professional racing. The result: a significantly higher grip level, maximum control and precise feedback - uncompromisingly designed for use on the racetrack.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable rebound (high speed)
You'll feel the difference with every click! Here you can adjust the rebound (high speed) with a total of 13 clicks. This makes the riding characteristics either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Adjustable compression damping (Highspeed)
You can fine-tune the high-speed compression damping even after installation. Up to 15 clicks allow you to adjust vehicle handling and stability.
Blow-off valve
The adjustable blow-off of the 5-fold applications regulates the high-speed characteristic according to requirements in order to flatten the damper in the desired set range in the event of enormous events, such as fast curb crossings, transverse joints or generally uneven road surfaces that cause enormous pressures in the damper.

Why a suspension for the 911 GT3 RS at all?
Our solid-piston technology opens up significantly extended possibilities in suspension tuning. Both high-speed and low-speed damping can be adjusted separately in rebound and compression, and blow-off valves are also used in both directions. This provides a noticeable increase in control, stability and traction - especially at high speeds, aggressive curbs and changing track conditions. The significantly extended adjustment range forms the ideal basis for trackday riders who are looking for maximum performance and want to modify their vehicle in a targeted manner without having to compromise on precision and drivability.
What happens to the lift system?
KW offers three different solutions for the 911 GT3 RS, depending on the requirements and area of application. In the first variant, the standard lift is completely omitted. The advantage lies in additional weight savings and a maximum focus on performance. In the second variant, the standard lift is retained in full and can continue to be used as usual. The third option is aimed at vehicles without a factory-fitted lift. Here it is possible to retrofit the KW HLS and thus continue to benefit from a lift of the front axle in everyday life or when driving uphill.
What is the advantage of the KW V7 Racing?
The KW V7 Racing is uncompromisingly designed for maximum performance at the limit and serves as a high-precision tool for suspension tuning. Thanks to its modular design and flow-optimised valve technology, the system achieves exceptionally high thermal stability, extremely fine damper characteristics and reproducible setup results. This allows the vehicle, track and driving style to be precisely harmonised - a crucial basis for consistently fast lap times and maximum control under racing conditions.
Is the KW V7 Racing adjustable?
The KW V7 Racing for the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is only mechanically adjustable. The standard electronic adjustment via the steering wheel is completely omitted. Instead, the adjustment - as in professional GT3 motorsport - takes place directly on the damper via precisely defined clicks. KW supplies the appropriate adjustment tool for this. This allows the suspension to be adapted exactly to the track conditions, tyres, setup philosophy and driving style and enables maximum control and reproducible settings at racing level.
