Enjoy more driving stability and composure with our Porsche 911 suspension upgrades
Experience unparalleled control with coilover kits from KW suspensions. It adjusts the response behavior of the Porsche G-model precisely to the axle load distribution. This provides greater stability and composure when cornering. The classic 911 dynamics become more predictable yet remain authentic. Our goal is not to alter the character with a 911 coilover conversion, but rather to enhance it with modern technology.
The factory suspension
The standard suspension of the Porsche 911 G-model provides a firm and sporty ride for common roads. However, it no longer corresponds to today's technological possibilities. Significant pitch and roll movements of the body, coupled with a tendency for the rear end to oversteer, make handling difficult to predict. Moreover, it is not possible to personalize the handling with this standard suspension.
Our KW product
The KW V3 road coilovers offer stepless lowering and the option to adjust the compression and rebound of the dampers individually (see the technology highlights for more details). This Porsche 911 suspension upgrade noticeably reduces rolling behavior and significantly increases driving stability, especially when cornering at speed. Drivers get an excellent analogue-adjustable suspension with a harmonious balance of performance and residual comfort.
Individual lowering
This coilover suspension offers you the maximum technically possible lowering - individually adapted to your vehicle model. Can also be changed at any time after installation.
Adjustable rebound (Lowspeed)
You'll feel the difference with every click! Here you can adjust the rebound (low speed) with a total of 16 clicks. This makes the riding characteristics either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable compression (Lowspeed)
Fine-tune the compression damping (low speed) even after installation. Vehicle handling and stability benefit from 12 clicks.

Which KW suspensions are available for the 911 G model?
We offer the KW V3 and the KW V3 Clubsport for the Porsche G-Model S and SC, including versions with higher steering knuckles and 16-inch rims or larger. Both options allow for individual lowering and feature separately adjustable rebound and compression damping. They are also supplied with a parts certificate.
What is the difference between the KW V3 and the V3 Clubsport?
The KW V3 coilover suspension is designed for everyday road use, offering a sporty and firm driving experience with sufficient residual comfort. The KW V3 Clubsport suspension can also be used on the road, but it is primarily aimed at drivers who use their cars for track days. It is firmer than the V3 and uses components from motorsport.
Which basic damper setting would you recommend?
We recommend starting with the factory setup. Our engineers consider this to be the ideal setup for this vehicle model. If you then wish to make further adjustments, do so in small steps. Adjust the rebound and compression damping separately for each axle. Document your changes.
How does a Porsche 911 suspension upgrade affect the resale?
If you have upgraded your Porsche 911 with a new suspension system, this should not normally prevent you from selling it. In fact, a properly documented conversion with an expert opinion, invoice and setup protocol will probably be very well received. If necessary, it is possible to convert it to series components at any time, provided you keep the original parts carefully.
"I wouldn't have thought that a classic G-model could drive so modern and precise! With the KW V3 Coilover suspension, the 911 feels completely new - significantly more stability in fast corners without losing the typical oldschool charm. The response behaviour is incredibly fine, every bump is ironed out perfectly. At the same time, the car remains comfortable enough for longer tours. For me, it's the perfect upgrade to preserve the character of the G model and noticeably increase performance."
