Whether you prefer a sporty, firm ride or a more comfortable one, we are sure to have something to suit your needs. Alongside our popular KW V3 coilover suspension, we offer the entry-level KW V1 and the slightly more comfortable KW V3 Leveling suspension, which sits slightly higher off the ground. These products are suitable for Tesla models with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, including the Model Y and the Type 005. Each suspension kit comes with adjustment instructions and a parts certificate.

The factory suspension
Impressive driving performance and a sporty driving experience - these are the Model 3 and Model Y models from Tesla. Both vehicles are delivered from the factory with low ground clearance and a tightly tuned suspension. This can make driving on poorly constructed roads a real test of nerves. The steering is also described as nervous, which is why it requires repeated steering corrections.
Our KW product
This suspension kit for the Tesla Model Y and Model 3 is ideal for those who want an even lower ride height despite the low factory ground clearance. The KW V1 coilover suspension's damper setting is based on the KW V3's basic tuning, but it cannot be adjusted by the driver. The KW V1 coilover suspension is an excellent choice for budget-conscious drivers who don't require individual damper adjustment.

Customized lowering
This coilover suspension offers maximum possible lowering, customized to your vehicle model. You can also change this at any time after installation.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Composite spring disc
The height-adjustable KW spring plate is made from a resistant and friction-optimised polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert. In contrast to anodised aluminium adjustable spring plates, the polyamide composite material prevents possible oxidation.

Can I improve the electric range with a Tesla Model Y/3 coilover kit?
Yes. The electric mobility specialist Nextmove from Germany showed that the Tesla Model 3 with rear-wheel drive and a KW coilover suspension achieves a range increase of approx. 7%. This advantage results from improved aerodynamics thanks to stepless lowering, less rolling resistance, and avoiding excessive movements such as pitching and rolling.
How long does a KW Tesla Model Y coilover suspension last?
A KW coilover suspension for your Tesla Model Y offers long-lasting driving pleasure and reliability in every corner. The stainless-steel alloy struts (inox-line) are particularly resistant to moisture, cold, and dirt. The suspension remains durable and flexible - so you can easily adjust the lowering of your KW coilover suspension at any time.
Is there a Tesla Model 3 coilover kit for use on the racetrack?
Yes, but only upon request. Equipped with KW V4 Racing suspension, Daijiro Yoshihara's modified Tesla Model 3 competed in the Pikes Peak hill climb in Colorado (USA). Under difficult conditions, the Japanese racing driver achieved a time of 11:06.205 minutes with his Tesla and thus became the fastest electric car at the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb 2022. In the overall classification, it was enough for 9th place.
Are the Tesla coilovers from KW suspensions available with optional top mounts?
Yes. If you are bothered by creaking series top mounts in the Tesla, you can alternatively retrofit our support bearings. We build these with a rubber-metal guide element. The KW rubber mount responds more sensitively to steering movements and all other impulses from the driver. In contrast to the Tesla series dome mount, the force increase of the KW rubber mount is designed to be progressive.
