Tiguan coilovers for lowering and more driving pleasure on the road

Looking for a customized lowering for your new VW Tiguan? Or simply a more harmonious driving experience on your everyday route? We now offer the KW V1 and KW V3 road suspensions for the Volkswagen Tiguan III (CT). Whatever your requirements are, we are guaranteed to have the right Tiguan coilovers.

Production vs. KW

The factory suspension

A known problem with the standard suspension of the latest Tiguan III without DCC Pro is strong rumbling on uneven roads. The suspension bounces unpleasantly tightly, especially when driving over high-speed bumps (e.g. driving over a manhole cover at high speed).

Our KW product

The KW V3 is the most popular coilover kit among our fans. With this coilover suspension, your VW Tiguan is lowered and receives a driving dynamics upgrade that can be adjusted anytime. The result: precise steering, significantly more grip, and more driving pleasure.

Technology Highlights
Universal > IT Product Feature > Individual lowering

Customized lowering

This coilover suspension offers maximum possible lowering, customized to your vehicle model. You can also change this at any time after installation.

Universal > IT Product Feature > Adjustable rebound (Lowspeed)

Adjustable rebound (low speed)

You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.

Universal > IT Product Feature > Adjustable compression (Lowspeed)

Adjustable compression damping (low speed)

You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.

Universal > IT Product Feature > Composite spring seat

Composite spring disc

The height-adjustable KW spring plate is made from a resistant and friction-optimised polyamide composite material with a stainless steel insert. In contrast to anodised aluminium adjustable spring plates, the polyamide composite material prevents possible oxidation.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE ALSO INTERESTED IN

Does the Tiguan have adjustable suspension?

That depends on which Tiguan coilovers you choose: If you choose the KW V1, the damper setup is already sportily tuned ex works. With the KW V3, you can determine the damper setup yourself - even after the product has been installed.

Can you lower a VW Tiguan?

Sure! A lowered Volkswagen Tiguan is possible with both the V1 and V3. The lowering range is between 30 to 50 mm on the front axle and 35 to 60 mm on the rear axle. No matter which Tiguan coilovers by KW you decide on, lowering is always customizable.

Does the Tiguan have adaptive dampers?

There are VW Tiguan III and VW Tiguan II models with adaptive dampers. Unfortunately, we do not have a product for the latest VW Tiguan (III) with DCC Pro. For selected Tiguan II models such as the 5N or Allspace with DCC Pro, we also offer the KW V1 and KW V3 as well as the KW DDC Plug&Play and coilover springs.

How much ground clearance does the Tiguan have

According to several sources, the VW Tiguan has a ground clearance of approximately 200 mm, depending on the model variant and generation. With a KW coilover suspension, the ground clearance can be further reduced by up to 60 mm, depending on the axle!
