What is an adaptive chassis at VW?
The current adaptive Passat suspension from Volkswagen is the DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) Pro. This VW suspension adapts to the road conditions and your driving style. It must be ordered when configuring the vehicle model. KW offers an alternative to improve the driving dynamics for all those who have not ordered the DCC Pro.
How much does it cost to retrofit DCC Pro to the Passat?
Retrofitting an adaptive suspension in the Passat varies, but is rarely financially worthwhile. If you still want better driving dynamics, the KW V3 suspension for the Passat (B9) is the best choice. If you have an older Passat model, you may even be able to fall back on the adaptive suspension from KW.
