Is there a difference between the standard KW color kit and the KW Classic kits?
The only difference between the standard color KW kits and the KW Classic kits is the color. Both options share the same technology and setup meticulously designed by our engineering team for your classic car. The KW Classic kit is produced in a more subtle-looking color configuration so as not to draw too much attention away from your restored classic car. All the purple hardware and yellow springs are in black to give the KW Classic kit an OEM+ look and feel.
Is a parts certificate included with KW Classic suspension systems?
Yes, a parts certificate (Teilegutachten) is generally included with KW Classic suspension systems. This certificate serves as the basis for approval by an official technical inspection body such as TÜV or DEKRA. After installation, the vehicle is inspected and the modification is officially registered in the vehicle documents. This ensures that your vehicle remains compliant with legal regulations and approved for road use.
Classic Line - your classic car with a discreet look
Inspired by the classic, unobtrusive beauty of a vintage car, we have developed our Classic Line - coilover suspensions in a sleek, black design. Depending on your vehicle, you will receive your classic car suspension either with INOX-Line stainless steel housing in combination with black springs and purple adjustment wheel or with black galvanised housing and black springs.
Different versions of KW Classic suspensions
All of our suspension applications enable more driving safety and performance without neglecting driving comfort. Depending on the vehicle-specific application, height-adjustable suspension struts or damper housings are manufactured from aluminium, steel or tempered stainless steel and combined with the optimum KW damper valve technology. In certain cases, we also offer pure damper sets with our proven KW technology.
