KW’s electronic control unit continuously analyzes driving conditions and automatically adjusts the damping force to match the vehicle’s current weight. This ensures that your car or light commercial vehicle maintains maximum directional stability and handling even when fully loaded, while retaining its standard ground clearance.
Flexibility at the touch of a button for long-distance comfort or sporty performance
Use the included DDC button in the cockpit to select the perfect driving profile for your current route. For even more personalized tuning, the system can be fine-tuned using a smartphone app.
The included KW control unit processes the signals from the integrated sensors and controls the damper valves in the background.
We thoroughly tested the three driving modes—Comfort, Sport, and Sport+. They perfectly cover every conceivable everyday situation.
The system comes as a complete replacement kit, including all necessary cables and connectors for a clean installation.
An optional module allows you to pair the shock absorber with your smartphone to control your own setups via the KW app.

Since the KW DDC ECU Daily Drive is designed solely as a replacement for the stock shock absorber—with no change to the vehicle’s ride height—no parts certificate is required for modification approval. You’ll save yourself a trip to the TÜV and the fees for registering the modification in your vehicle’s paperwork, and you can hit the road right after installation.
