Problems with the series version
With its 480 hp, the current M2 (2023) is already inherently sporty. It embodies all the characteristics of a typical high-performance sports car. Powerful 6-cylinder in-line engine, strong rear-wheel drive and the adaptive M suspension, whose damping can be conveniently adjusted from the cockpit depending on the driving situation. However, for an exquisite driving experience, individually tailored to the respective purpose of your vehicle, we recommend our KW coilovers.
Function & quality of KW
The ideal product for the passionate sports driver and the next best time on the track. The built-in GT3 racing technology allows four-way adjustment of the dampers, designed for near-series vehicles with semi-slicks. The vehicle remains playfully easy to control on uneven roads or when driving over curbs. This Clubsport suspension also has road approval. This suspension uses KW Solid Piston technology for more sensitive damping, cavitation-free function and low hysteresis.

Adjustable compression (Lowspeed)

Adjustable compression (Highspeed)

Lower your BMW M2 (G87) with KW
The driving dynamics of your M2 G87 are not only improved by the customizable damper setup. The stepless lowering, which is included in all products for the BMW M2 (G7), also contributes to this. Thanks to the lowered center of gravity, the vehicle sits better on the road. Body movements during braking and acceleration are minimized.
Installing your KW product
If you are a professional, you can of course install your KW product yourself. However, we recommend that you always have the product installed by one of our certified KW dealers. In addition to a perfectly installed product, you will also receive a three-year follow-up warranty on top of the two-year manufacturer's warranty.
Measuring the axle after installation
As soon as the KW product has been installed in your BMW M2 G87, a wheel alignment should be carried out. This ensures optimum suspension geometry and safety. An optimally adjusted axle ensures ideal road holding and minimizes excessive tire wear.
The difference between a coilover suspension and HAS
A coilover suspension is your all-round carefree package. The combination of a stainless steel strut with coil spring and integrated damper allows the damper setup to be adjusted in addition to the individually variable lowering. With our height-adjustable springs (HAS), on the other hand, only the lowering is infinitely adjustable, as no damper is included.
