The BMW M2 G87 is undoubtedly a vehicle that leaves little to be desired. Its masculine design, sporty and aggressive appearance, and adaptive M suspension are all impressive features. However, some drivers would like to fine-tune the driving dynamics even further. This could be for added comfort, for use on the racetrack, for flexibility through individual damping settings or for continuously adjustable lowering. We offer these very solutions for the BMW M2 G87. All our upgrades (except racing coilover kits) include a parts certificate in the scope of delivery.

The factory suspension
With 480 hp, the current M2 (built in 2023) is a highly sporty car as standard, embodying all the characteristics of a typical high-performance sports car. It comes with a powerful six-cylinder in-line engine, robust rear-wheel drive and an adaptive M chassis whose damping can conveniently be adjusted from the cockpit depending on the driving situation. However, if you're looking for a driving experience that's tailored to your exact personal preferences, you've come to the right place.
Our KW coilover kits
The ideal product for the passionate sports driver and the next best time on the track. The built-in GT3 racing technology allows four-way adjustment of the dampers, designed for near-series vehicles with semi-slicks. The vehicle remains playfully easy to control on uneven roads or when driving over curbs. This suspension uses KW Solid Piston technology for more sensitive damping, cavitation-free function and low hysteresis. The KW V5 Clubsport suspension also has road approval.

No more error messages: The KW cancellation kit
Switching from adaptive factory dampers to KW coilovers (for cars with electronic damping)
If you decide to install KW coiloversin a car with standard adaptive suspension, you can deactivate it using a vehicle-specific KW cancellation kit. This prevents error messages from appearing when changing the suspension. Only the standard damper control is deactivated. The control unit continues to function as normal. Customized lowering
This coilover suspension offers maximum possible lowering, customized to your vehicle model. You can also change this at any time after installation.
Adjustable compression damping (low speed)
You can fine-tune the low-speed compression damping even after installation. The vehicle's handling and stability will benefit from 12 clicks.
Adjustable compression damping (Highspeed)
You can fine-tune the high-speed compression damping even after installation. Up to 15 clicks allow you to adjust vehicle handling and stability.
Adjustable rebound (low speed)
You'll notice the difference with every click! Here, you can adjust the low-speed rebound with 16 clicks. This adjusts the ride characteristics, making them either harder or more comfortable.
Adjustable rebound (high speed)
You'll feel the difference with every click! Here you can adjust the rebound (high speed) with a total of 13 clicks. This makes the riding characteristics either harder or more comfortable.

Can I lower my M2 (G87) with KW coilovers or springs?
Yes! The driving dynamics of your M2 G87 are improved not only by the customisable damper setup. The stepless lowering included in all suspension upgrades for the BMW M2 (G87) also contributes to this. Thanks to the lowered center of gravity, the vehicle sits better on the road. Body movements during braking and acceleration are minimized.
Who installs a KW coilover kit?
If you are a specialist, you can of course install your KW coilovers yourself. However, we recommend that you always have the product installed by one of our certified KW dealers. In addition to a perfectly installed upgrade, you will also receive a three-year extended warranty on top of the two-year manufacturer's warranty.
Is a KW cancellation kit included in the scope of delivery?
Yes. If you choose KW coilovers for your G87, the cancellation kit is already included in the scope of delivery. This allows you to change your suspension quickly and easily without any error messages.
What is the difference between a coilover kit and KW HAS for the G87?
A coilover suspension is your all-inclusive package. By combining a stainless steel strut with a coil spring and integrated shock absorber, you can adjust the damper settings in addition to the stepless lowering. With our coil springs, on the other hand, only the lowering is steplessly adjustable, as the standard shock absorber continues to be used.
