How can I improve the driving behaviour with a new suspension?
You can improve handling by adjusting your coilover suspension correctly. If comfort is important to you and your suspension allows it, you should set the dampers to a softer setting so that bumps are cushioned gently. Bear in mind that lowering the car too much or using spring rates that are too stiff will affect comfort. Also, ensure that your tyre pressure is set correctly and that your tyres have good tread.
Will a coilover suspension make my car too hard?
A coilover suspension is not inherently hard, but it can be adjusted to provide a firmer ride. With adjustable compression and/or rebound damping, you can control how quickly your car absorbs bumps and how much it sways in corners. Our Street Comfort suspension solutions offer significantly greater driving comfort than other retrofit solutions from our Street Performance products or competitors.
