The hydraulic suspension system (HLS) comes with KW springs that are perfectly matched to the respective KW Lift Kit and your vehicle. The spring rate does not change, even when the hydraulic lift system is activated.

What is an HLS kit?
A suspension with a hydraulic lift system (HLS for short) allows the body to be raised by up to 45 millimetres at the touch of a button while driving. This allows you to overcome obstacles such as speed bumps or steep driveways without causing damage to your car. You can activate the HLS up to a speed of 80 km/h.
KW HLS Evolution: The revised lift system
Our revised KW hydraulic suspension has a smaller pump unit. This means it can be installed in the engine compartment without major modifications. We have also been able to save 3-4 kilograms in weight and have revised the solenoid valve. This is now less susceptible to contamination. The KW HLS Evolution can be attached to existing mounting points using a slightly modified original bracket.
HLS 2 vs. HLS 4
With HLS 2, we have only installed the lift cylinders on the front axle dampers. This has a positive effect on the slope angle. With the HLS 4, on the other hand, there is a lift cylinder on all four KW coilover struts in the car, which ensures that the entire vehicle can be raised by up to 45 mm.
