Customise the damper setup
Different damping characteristics are required depending on the race track, tyre setup and vehicle weight. With the KW V6 Racing, all important parameters can be customised at any time. There are 18 clicks each available for compression (low/high speed) and rebound (low/high speed). In addition, the blow-off setting in the compression stage can be adjusted with 12 individual clicks. This means that track conditions and curb characteristics are also taken into account.
Highly innovative KW valve technology
Thanks to separate tension and compression stage valves (low and high speed), the characteristic curve can be customised. A force range of 1,000 to 12,000 N at 0.5 m/s can be covered. The arrangement of the valves ensures cavitation-free operation at low gas pressure. This ensures a more stable damping performance and efficiency under extreme loads. The short-stroke valve reacts precisely and quickly for maximum feedback and performance on the respective racetrack.
V6 Racing Technology in detail
Five-way adjustable 2-tube dampers with 18 clicks each of compression and rebound damping (low/high).
Adjustable blow-off (compression damping) with a total of 12 clicks for precise damping adjustment.
Innovative KW valve technology covers a force range from 1,000 to 12,000 N.
Thanks to the solid piston technology, the product responds even with small maneuvers.

Value and quality
The KW V6 Racing is a high performance racing shock absorber based on the displacement principle, which is adjustable in 5 directions. For McPherson applications as a reverse version with a 40 mm diameter plain bearing cartridge. The advantage over other systems is the even lower throttle pressure and the associated low force acting on the piston rod through the throttle. Maximum accuracy is achieved by the positive displacement principle, as more oil flows through the valves than in conventional systems. High damping forces of up to 10,000 N can be achieved.
