State of the Art GT3 dampers
Current GT3 cars generate around 900 kilograms of downforce at top speed, depending on the balance of performance classification. This corresponds to more than two thirds of their total weight. With the new KW V7 technology, we have consistently further developed our proven solid piston damper technology. For the first time, an additional blow-off valve is used in the high-speed rebound stage. This means that the KW V7 technology has a total of six independently adjustable valves.
2-way blow-off adjustment option
The blow-off valves ensure a flatter characteristic curve in the high-speed range. This is ideal when curbs are ridden over aggressively or when short suspension travel and high aero loads need to be precisely controlled. The flow-optimised, offset valves ensure cavitation-free operation with minimal hysteresis. With a characteristic curve range between 1,000 and 12,000 newtons, KW V7 technology covers a wide damping spectrum. Even with minimal suspension travel and extreme downforce, the system works with high precision.
V7 Racing Technology in detail
Six-way adjustable 2-tube dampers with 18 clicks each of compression and rebound damping (low/high).
2-way high-speed and low-speed compression damping, 2-way high-speed and low-speed rebound damping and one blow-off valve each for compression and rebound damping.
Ride height adjustment via the shim system. The ride height can be adjusted without changing the compression/rebound travel. Adjustment of 0.5mm possible
Thanks to the solid piston technology, the product responds even with small maneuvers.

Value and quality
The KW V7 Racing is a high performance damper based on the displacement principle which is 6-way adjustable. For McPherson applications as an upsidedown version with a 40mm cartridge with plain bearings. The advantage over other systems is the even lower gas pressure and the associated low gas extension force of the piston rod. With the positive displacement principle, maximum precision is achieved because a larger quantity of oil flows through the valves than with conventional systems. High damping forces of up to 12000N are possible. Housing made of high-strength aluminium or galvanised steel.
